1. WRITING 20% Pair compilation of  writing W1-W14  The folio is to gear students towards
PORTFOLIO brainstorming ,  brainstorming (ongoing) the Argumentative Writing
class discussion &  drafting Assessment as well as to respond to
activities, writing  critical thinking class discussions and activities
practice & drafts
 There will be allocation for individual
marks, even though this is a pair task.

2. PUBLIC SPEAKING 30% Pair in-class  persuasive W10-W12  Students may choose their own
presentation: speaking skills partners, but must get pre-approval
persuasive speech  critical thinking for their topics.

3. ARGUMENTATIVE 20% Individual timed, in-class  argumentative W13  The essay will be an in-class
ESSAY writing assessment writing skills assessment based on argumentative
 critical thinking writing skills.

4. COURTROOM dramatization of a  Speaking W8-W14  Group members will be assigned but

DRAMA 30% Group courtroom scene in & Study may select their own cases; each
(FINAL recorded, CD  question and Leave Week group will be required to submit a
PRESENTATION) version answering script & background information on
 critical thinking the case presented.
