Session Aim: This session is a practical session and is designed to deliver and develop singing skills in a
Musical Theatre style/genre. It develops vocal technique and enhances performance technique.
Objectives:

1. Demonstrate an awareness of the skills and processes of rehearsal. Perform material.

2. Acquire new behaviors/ skills, to develop vocal tone, technical accuracy and dictation.

Previous Knowledge Assumed: Prior knowledge of the score and parts for “The Prologue”, including SATB.

Materials and equipment required: Musical Score, Clavinova, Computer

Teacher Activities: Introduction, Warm up, Listen and assess performance, implement improvements, evaluate
progress.
Learner Activities: Warm up, Perform, imitate and work on improvements shared, perform, evaluate.
Assessment Methods: Listening and assessing.
