Dear Ma’am:
Greetings of peace!
To be remembered, last December 12, 2020, you have instructed us, third-year Social Work
students, to submit the Chapter 2 (Review of Related Literature) of our thesis paper on the 19 th of
the same month. Many of us tried to do our very best to abide with the aforementioned deadline
however, majority of us failed to do so due to the following reasons:

 Difficulty in communicating with our groupmates due to the global pandemic which limits
our mobility and prohibits gathering which we find essential for the completion of such
requirement. As an addendum, unstable internet connection causes a huge negative impact
on the productivity rate of each group.
 Limited access to online consultation due to the conflicting schedule of the students and
their instructor.
In line with this, we, as a section, consolidated and proceeded to write this letter asking for your
consideration to move the submission of the said thesis chapter to December 23, 2020 (or any
other date which you may find suitable for your schedule).
We are and will be forever thankful for all the efforts that you have made to willingly impart your
knowledge to us. We know that this might cause a conflict to your own personal schedule but we
are sincerely appealing for this leeway to be approved, for we assure you that we will be able to
finally comply with this extended deadline with the uttermost quality of work.
