Please refer to the above captioned subject.
Sequel to your letter dated 29th day of December 2020, requesting for certain clarifications
regarding our report of the meeting held on the 23rd day of December 2020, we sent a response
dated 2nd January, 2020. In the said response, we humbly requested for your version of the
minutes of the meeting, to enable us make comprehensive clarification, such that no issue is left
unaddressed. Please note that we have not been furnished with the said minutes and that
accounts for why we have not sent further correspondence on the matter.
Meanwhile, the 10% salary deduction has continued unabated for three consecutive months,
without further communication from the university management. It worrisome, that while we are
committed to the fulfilment of the terms of our contract of employment, through teaching and
sundry administrative duties, the university management has continued to breach the sacred
terms of our contract of employment, which were put in place by the university herself.
While we remain committed to our contract of employment, we hope the university management
will reverse the 10% deduction in our salary and refund the amount already deducted.
