About The Jacket Fund

The Jacket Fund (TJF) is a Social Service platform of volunteers created on
November 24, 2020. Its purpose is to provide free jackets to homeless people and
laborers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. With the jacket, providing cap, muffler,
gloves and two pairs of socks. Besides that also providing shawls (chadrain). TJF
also collecting warm clothes as donation to handover to needy. So far provided
warm clothes to 354 people.

The Fund is the concept of Mr. Atif Abbas – a philanthropist, management

consultant and pioneer of Research-in-Politics. During lockdown (May-June 2020)
launched ‘Lockdown Affectees Fund’ - with his team of volunteers provided ration
to around three hundred and ninety families. He is Coordinator ‘Insaf Research
Wing’ [IRW] in Pakistan.

The Event

Warm Clothes Distribution

The Jacket Fund in collaboration with Hashoo Foundation under Hashoo Trust
Humanitarian Program scheduled an event on January 09, 2021 (Saturday) at 12
p.m. to distribute sweaters among females of rural area of Pindoorian, Islamabad.
Three hundred and five (305) sweaters of two different sizes were distributed.
Representatives of Hashoo Foundation visited the site to monitor the distribution
process.

The event was organized by Coordinator TJF, Mr. Yonous Javed with team
members, Shazia Yonous, Joshaniya Yonous, Robil Yonous, Sharjeel Yonous,
Humeera Sabir, Aiza Amir, Sabir Arif, Amir Munawar, Yonous Walat and Sajawal
Khokhar.

Beneficiaries thanked Hashoo Foundation and The Jacket Fund for the sweaters.
Event successfully ended around half past three in the afternoon.
