Super Hero... "HELP INDONESIAN
CHILDREN TO GET THEIR
EDUCATION"
Presented by Young Indonesia Muslim Students Association
Dear Sir/Madam,

This year, we, the Young Indonesian Muslim Student Association (YIMSA) come back
again and held an event called Family Fun Day on December. The success of the last year
event drives us to organize the same event which will be even bigger and better.

One of the main objectives in this event is to gather fund to give to the Indonesian
children to help with their education. We recognize that poverty is one of the major
issues in Indonesia, and some communities are more fortunate than others. Therefore,
this Family Fun Day event creates an opportunity for Indonesian overseas families to
give back and contribute to the kids in Indonesia who struggles to pay their school fees,
to buy school books, uniform, stationeries, and other school needs. All funds and
proceeds generated on that day will be sent to the unfortunate children in Indonesia in
January 2011, via our yearly social program called ‘Bakti Sosial’.

Another objective in this event is to bring together Indonesian Family in Melbourne.

Family Fun Day provides the chance for individuals and families residing in Victoria to
bond and socialize in Islamic and educative way. Family can spend the weekend
together with games for parents and children, enjoying kids’ performances, visit the
bazaar and the halal food festival, while meeting with other Indonesians. In addition,
children can also take benefit of learning more about Islam and culture diversity of
Indonesia in a fun environment.

In conclusion, raising fund in a fun and friendly environment is what the event is aiming
for. Therefore, we would like to invite you to take a role in our Family Fun Day 2010.

Super Hero... "HELP INDONESIAN CHILDREN TO GET THEIR EDUCATION"

The theme of Family Fun Day 2010 is "Super Hero: Help Indonesian children to get their
education". Education plays an important role in the society. Thus, we encourage
Indonesian families in Melbourne, along with their children, to be the Super Heroes to
their own society. The idea of super hero will also motivate children to care for others,
especially for those who are in need of help. Family Fun Day will be the event that
fulfills the good intention of helping others, especially to our originated society in
Indonesia.

Target Audience:

The main target audiences and participants for this event are mainly Indonesian
families residing in Victoria. YIMSA realizes that there are pockets of communities with
families residing in Victoria yet with very minimum entertainment. Hence, YIMSA is
proud to be the only muslim student organization that offers a one stop entertainment
for the whole family.

Yearly Social Program (“Bakti Sosial”)

This program is the following program after the Family Fun Day. Since the beginning of
YIMSA, it has been part of our commitment to conduct various social events regularly
which focus on:

 Reducing the burden of our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

 Building the future of Indonesia.

Some of the successful social programs or more commonly called “Bakti Sosial” that
YIMSA have managed to conduct includes a trip to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (2009)
and Taman Safari (2008) with orphans, mass circumcision (2007) and several rescue
aids for flood and other natural disaster victims in previous years. Overtime, YIMSA has
succeeded maintaining good relationship with its beneficiaries.

The Current Plan

This year’s “Bakti Sosial” will focus on providing long-term benefits. It will attempt to
ensure that the impact of “Bakti Sosial” can be felt even long after donations have been
passed on to beneficiaries. This approach will be achieved by provides capital in the
form of resources, to allow less fortunate families receive regular income
