Resolution No. ___ Series of 2019

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUNONG BARANGAY AND BARANGAY

TREASURER TO DIBURSE THE 10% SK FUNDS

WHEREAS, in Republic Act. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang

Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, Sec. 20, Paragraph (b), states that “The Sangguniang
Kabataan shall have financial independence in the operations, disbursements and
encashment of their fund, income and expenditures. As such, the Sangguniang
Kabataan funds shall be deposited in the name of the Sangguniang Kabataan of the
concerned barangay in a government-owned bank situated in or nearest to its area of
jurisdiction with the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson and the Sangguniang
Kabataan treasurer as the official signatories;

WHEREAS, the Commission on Audit (COA), pending the issuance of

guidelines and handbook on planning, recording of the 10% SK Funds;

WHEREAS, Sangguniang Kabataan cannot perform yet the said financial

independence in the operations, disbursements and encashment of their fund, income
and expenditure;
 NOW THEREFORE, on mass motion of the Sangguniang Baranagy of Barangay
Can-ibuang and duly seconded by the same, BE IT:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to AUTHORIZE THE PUNONG

BARANGAY, HON. VICENTE ROLLAN JR. AND BARANGAY TREASURER, MS.
WILMA LOYLOY TO DISBURSE THE 10% SK FUNDS

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish the copies of the resolution to all officials and
other offices concerned for their information and guidance.
