Reflection of the whole project

I think it went really well in our group. We had a good division, and
everyone did the things they had to do. One of the first lessons we had to
call with the Indian students. I thought did it didn’t go well at all, because
there was a lot of noise and I couldn’t really understand what they said.
But the questions we had were answered at the end of the call, so that
was great.
We had to do an experiment in class with our group. The experiment itself
went well when we know what we had to do however, we didn’t have that
much time. So, we couldn’t finish it completely. And we couldn’t finish the
experiment at home.
If I had to change something it would be the call with the Indian students,
because we had to wait a really long time before we could say something.
And some people were really annoying. And not only with the call but just
with the whole project it was sometimes very unclear what we had to do.
So, if these things were a little bit different it was a great project. And
overall, I liked the project with my group!

It was a very long and big project which we had to put a lot of work and
effort in. I think our teamwork went really well and dividing the tasks
among each other. The contact with India went good as well, we talked
with them via WhatsApp, asked each other questions and answered most
of them.

I think the interview with the expert was interesting because he knew a
lot about this topic, so I think that went very well too. He has given us a
lot of information and learned a lot from him. If we were to do this project
once more, I think we wouldn’t do a lot of things differently than we did.
Most of the things went really well, although maybe we would divide some
tasks differently and talk with the Indian students even more to exchange
information, research and learn more about each other’s countries and
traditions as well as about each other.

This was also our first time working with the Weebly, so with the
knowledge and experience we now have with it, we could probably make
it better or do it differently. Although, I think we did a pretty good job
with it.

I think our group worked together to the best of our abilities. Especially
when you consider that we were not able to meet for half of the project
which made it noticeably harder to work on the project.
The communication with the students from India went well if you consider
that most of the contact was via WhatsApp and some of it during the
conference calls.
I do think that we as a group could have divided the amount of work, we
did in a certain amount of time a little better. We did get everything done
in time, but we could have made it easier if we focused more on planning.
The project itself was not always as clear as I would have liked it, but it
was doable and Miss van Kraaij explained it if we did not understand
something. I do feel that there was less communication between us and
the Indian students then I thought going into this project. This mainly was
because you did not work together on it. You just made the same project
and compared it with your counterpart. Although I get why that choice
was made because the communication was already difficult as it was and
would not have been easy if your project was dependent on the students
out of the other country.

Our group, greener world, made a project about green meals. It was a
long project with a lot of assignments, but the result is really good. we
discovered new things concerning this topic, we learned about the Indian
culture, our collaboration went great overall, it was a nice way of
interacting with foreigners.
Of course, it didn’t always went well… it was a bit hard to keep in contact
with the Indian student sometimes, which is logical because they are 4,5
hours ahead of us. We had a group chat with the whole group so in that
chat we had contact with them. We talked about our Christmas plans, got
to know each other a bit, helped each other out with the project.
The most difficult thing was the differences in level of English and the
different pronunciation. The network connections didn’t make that easier.
If we had to call with the Indian students it was very hard to follow what
they were talking about. But maybe they thought the same about us, we
don’t know that of course.
Talking about the assignments, most of them were doable. We learned a
lot of it and sometimes the outcome of a certain assignment was very
unexpected, which made it even nicer. However, some assignments were
quite difficult and challenging but I think we managed to finish them quite
well.
If I had to do this project again, I wouldn’t really do anything different. It
all went really well and that’s also because we really worked together, and
if we needed something from the Indian students we could just ask them.
What I liked the most about EU mind is that you get to know the culture
of a different country, we noticed so many differences compared to the
Netherlands. That was the best part of it!
