I) CHESS BOARD (write a short narrative report on how you created your own DIY
chess board in paragraph form)
Chess game. Someone just told me that, Chess game is a game that people who
play this game, should be a wise thinker, strategies that can make you crazy and
puzzled at the same time, Abstract Reasoning, Calmness Under Pressure,
Patience, Sportsmanship, Creative Thinking. Also said lazy people’s game.

Trying to create a DIY Chess board is not a joke, I mean during this Covid-19,
stores that selling school supplies are closed, means you need to be resourceful
some times, so it end up with a cartons, pencils, yellow color paper, sky blue
pastel color, cutter and ruler to measure every corner of the finished carton box.
Do it with patience as the game started, every inch and centimeters should
perfectly angled. Chess pieces are also made by a carton thing that had a
different colour, orange and pistachio in it written on that pieces are the rooks,
Knight, Bishop, the Queen and the king’s name together with the plastic cups
and jolens. This could be better and more presentable if it is have enough
material to be used.

Chess game doesn’t have to, to have a good looking chessboard and chess
pieces. It is how you love to play and don’t even mind of how your chessboard
looked like. Indeed, if you didn’t have a chessboard a better one, then create
your own, chessboard is just a battle field not for fashion, and chess game is
considered as a maze.

a) Materials used (identify and insert photo)

Carton – the base of the chessboard.

Yellow color paper / blue oil pastel color

Plastic cups / dise / stick glue

Pencil – used to measure, angled the lines and color its in between boxes.

Cutter – cutting the measured carton box.

Ruler – To measure its every length and width of the chessboard.
