Once they have made themselves familiar with the content, they
will discuss different types of games or activities that students
their age enjoy. They will brainstorm as a group, and write down
all of the ideas. They can research different ideas if necessary.

Explanation Once students have gone through the information, they will
practice some of the skills they have just seen. The teacher will
walk them through numerous skills involved in the activities or
sport. As the teacher transitions to different skills, she will ask
what type of activity or sport the skill is involved in.

Elaboration Group Project: You will work in groups of 4. Each group is to


come up with an event that their student body would be
interested in. It must involve the various types of sport we have
discussed (Individual, dual, or team). Each group will then
create a flyer to market their event.
