6.LESBIAN
- sila ang mga babae na ang kilos at
damdamin ay panlalaki; mga babaeng may
pusong lalaki at umiibig sa kapwa babae
(tinatawag sa ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas na
tibo at tomboy)
7.GAY
- mga lalaking nakararamdam ng
atraksyon sa kanilang kapwa lalaki; may
iilang bakla ang nagdadamit at kumikilos
na parang babae (tinatawag sa ibang
bahagi ng Pilipinas na; bakla, beki, at
bayot).
8.BISEXUAL
- mga taong nakararamdam ng
atraksyon sa dalawang kasarian
9.ASEXUAL
- mga taong walang nararamdamang
atraksiyong seksuwal sa anumang kasarian
10. TRANSGENDER
- kung ang isang tao ay nakararamdam
na siya ay nabubuhay sa maling katawan,
ang kaniyang pag-iisip at ang
pangangatawan ay hindi magkatugma, siya
ay maaaring may transgender na katauhan.
11. QUEER
Term describing people who have a non-
normative gender identity, sexual
orientation, or sexual anatomy—includes
lesbians, gay men, bisexual people, and
transgender people and allies. Since the
term is sometimes used as a slur, it has a
negative connotation for some LGBTQ
people; however, others have reclaimed it
and are comfortable using it to describe
themselves.
12. QUESTIONING
- The process of examining one’s sexual
orientation and/or gender identity.
13. INTERSEX
Term used for a variety of medical
conditions in which a person is born with
chromosomes, genitalia, and/or secondary
sexual characteristics that are inconsistent
with the typical definition of a male or
female body. Intersex individuals are not
always aware that they have this condition.
Replaces the inaccurate term
“hermaphrodite.”
14. INTERGENDER
- Intergender can be considered to be
between male and female, or to be a
combination of the two. Intergender
people may also identify as non-binary,
gender queer and/or transgender.
15. AGENDER
A person without gender. An a-gender
individual's body does not necessarily
correspond with their lack of gender
identify. Often, a-gender individuals are
not concerned with their physical sex, but
some may seek to look androgynous.
16. ADROGYNOUS
- A person whose gender expression
(e.g. clothing, hairstyle, etc.) doesn’t fall
into the gender binary, or falls somewhere
in between male and female.
17. CISGENDER
A person whose biological sex matches
with their gender identity. Example: A
biologically born woman who identifies as
a woman
18. GENDER FLUID
- A person whose gender identity and
gender expression are not static, and can
shift with time and/or circumstance.
19. WOMAN
- A woman has two X chromosomes
and is capable of pregnancy and giving
birth from puberty until menopause.
20. MAN
- Man's genome usually inherits an X
chromosome from the mother and a Y
chromosome from the father.
GENDER ROLE
Norms of expected behavior for men and
women assigned primarily on the basis of
the biological sex; a sociological construct
which varies from culture to culture.
