Coronavirus: Problem
I chose the in person learning. We are starting in school learning and I tried to
figure out ways to make a perfect in person learning class to help everyone learn
more about their homework and classwork plus to see your friends and say hi to
them. It would also benefit people who don’t like being on zoom and would rather
be in school.
Coronavirus: Where and Why?
Coronavirus is a virus that came from Wuhan, China. It is different from other
viruses because it is new to scientist and have never seen it before. Every single
day, they learn more and more about it and people who have covid have
experienced mild symptoms, Covid has caused people to have illnesses and
Death. Some people who have underlying medical conditions and are above the
age of 60 are at risk to get it.
Coronavirus: How it spreads?
Coronavirus spreads by people who have it and are in a group of friends are in
close contact with each other. It spreads through someone coughing and having it
and it gets inhaled by someone breathing it in. It can also spread by people who
have it touch things like a doorknob or a wall or table or computer or etc. and then
you touch it and you could be infected right there.
Coronavirus: Why is it important to bring kids
back to school?
It’s important to bring kids back to school because I think we need to have more
engaged learning. For me I’m not learning as much as I usually did at school since
I’m more of an in-person learner. I also think it will be good for students to
socialize with each other. Lastly, virtual school just doesn’t inspire me to learn.
Coronavirus: Traveled out of State
We would deal with people who have traveled out of state by Checking their
temperatures every single day and making sure they get tested. If they have it, they
will have to stay home and zoom from their house. We know we need to make
sure that we don’t travel because Travel increases your chances of getting Covid
because you are on a plane with a lot of people and you don’t know if anybody on
board has it or not.
Coronavirus: Visitors staying with Students
How we would deal with Visitors/Cousins/Relatives is by making sure they get
tested before they get on the plane and then test them again when they get off the
plane to make sure they have it. If they don’t have it, you are ok and if they do have
it, then make sure your are protecting yourself and make sure you get tested, so
that if you have it, you can make sure you stay home and zoom in class.
Coronavirus: Temperatures Taken
In school, we will have temperature check to see if your temperature is high or
low. It will be located in the front of school to make sure if you have a normal
temperature, you are allowed in school but if you have a higher temperature, you
would have to go home make sure you stay home and zoom in class.
Coronavirus: Schedule
In school, Pods 1, 2 and 3 will go Monday and Tuesday while Pods 4,5, and 6 will
go Thursday and Friday. The schedule would be the full 6 hours for in school
learning unless something changes.
Coronavirus: Enter and Exits
In school, Student will enter from the front of the school and will exit form the
back of the school. Student will enter through the front entrance and social
distance from everyone. Then, students will exit from the teachers parking lot and
parents will be in a car line to pick-up students. Each student will be Social
distanced as well. If you see your parent, they would be social distanced from
other students and head right into their cars.
Coronavirus: Hallways
In school, we would move through hallways as safe as possible. We would social
distance from each other, we would also make sure all of us are wearing masks
and making sure everyone will be safe. Everyone would make sure they are social
distancing and having a mask in the hallways and everyone would make sure they
are staying safe.
Coronavirus: Serving Breakfast or Lunch
In school, We would serve Breakfast and Lunch. We would have the lunch
people wear gloves and masks while cooking. They would also make sure
everything is clean and ready to serve food. Students will be social distancing
from each other and wearing a mask. They would have everything washed and
making sure everyone has a equal portion of food.
Coronavirus: Hand Washing and Hand Sanitizer
In school, Each classroom would have a big bottle of Hand Sanitizer that would
last at least more than a week, so that students would have enough to get through
the day without having Hand Sanitizer on their hands. Washing Hands would take
20 seconds to make sure you get all the germs off and to make sure you don’t
have it and to protect everyone else.
Coronavirus: Student Feels Sick
In School, If someone feels sick, they would call 911 and their parents to tell
them they are not feeling well and take them to the hospital to make sure if it is
not COVID and it is just a cold. If it is COVID, everyone around that person would
go get tested and make sure it didn’t spread to other students. We would clean
that desk and make sure everyone who has to sit their is safe. If it is just a cold, we
would make sure we still clean that desk and send that person home and make
sure he or she stays away from class for a few days until they feel better.
Coronavirus: COVID-19 case with School
In school, if someone tests positive for COVID-19 then we would all go home and
get tested to see if it spread to anyone else and if it did or didn’t, we would stay
online until we think it is the right time to go back and make sure we are more
careful than ever to make sure nobody else gets sick and infects everyone else.
We would also wipe down all the classes that person went for that day to make
sure that everyone is safe.
