Possessive Nouns
INTRODUCTION
When talking about possession, or to indicate about how to represent possession we
talk about possessive nouns. Its applicability depends on whether we are referring
to a singular or a plural noun. In this module, you will learn how to appropriately
use them.

Possessive Nouns
Possessive nouns are used to show ownership. In other words, possessive nouns
indicate that something belongs to someone. Possessive nouns are always placed
directly before noun they modify.

In everyday English, however, we generally use possessive nouns rather than this
'of' form.

Form the possessive noun by placing an apostrophe (') after the noun + s. Peter
