Personal Statement

First of all I would like to write a little bit about myself. My name is Marcha Passare Kodrat . I
am 19 years old and I have graduated high school from SMAN 7 in Bekasi. Then ,I learn
Germany at Virtu Education and have achieved B1 certificate from Goethe Institute. In 2021 I
want to continue my studies as a university student in Germany . For the second point is my
studies plan and my works plan after receiving the diploma.

I have a deep interest in the culture, history, and language of a different country such as
Germany, which I am excited to explore and experience. Although I have never studied abroad,
I believe with this opportunity i can expand my knowledge and thriving to found the new
challenges that I hope can improve my ability as a social beings .I have done a lot of research
and make sure that Germany is the right country for me. Their dual teaching system, which
combines theoretical learning and practical training, produces graduates who are well prepared
for the work environment. With a Tuition-free education is extended not only to their citizens
but to international students as well, making the cost of tuition there cheaper as compared to
other countries .Safety is always the most important , and Germany has been listed as the
fourth safest country in the world for international students according to a survey conducted by
the student room website.

I focused with my interest in International relations major and it needs our attention as a
student to take a deeper understanding and awareness that happening beyond the borders.
International experience is the key so I’ll be able to see and understand where and how
policies, strategies, conflicts and laws have an impact around the world. and I want to take
Germany as the platform or the place for the way to achieved the best education and
experienced at once.

I will imply everything that I gain in Germany back to my country and work to the field that can
bring the best aspects of me and my surrounding . And for that ,I hope with the best education
that I have received, I can become a qualified workforce for Indonesia .I believe and hope all of
the journey ,hard work and knowledge would be benefit for my future.

I have planned to continue the study to German that didn’t took just one night .This ambitions
have grown since I was in high school and it will continue be. I would be very honored to have
this opportunities as planned.This decision will also changed my path life which is really
important for my self.
