NESRVE Gaye 3% Garden Club End of the Year Education Report 2020-2021 Current Committee: Gail Miller and Jane Barry (Co-Chairs), Vickie Lockey (not here this season), Dominique Palacios, Margaret Raake, Nancy Krupa, Roma Benson (not here this season) Library Shelf - The Garden Club reference shelf in the Silver Lakes Library has been well used this season. Since the theme at the Botanical Gardens was Agaves, we purchased a reference book about this interesting succulent and added it to the shelf. 2020 - 2021 Events - Our field trip to the Palm Cottage and Lunch at the Ridgeway were cancelled because of Covid. All members who paid were refunded their money. Our Garden Tour was also cancelled. Plans for 2021-2022 Season 1, Twyla Leigh from the Collier County Extension has invited the Garden Club to a presentation at their sight about Orchids. We will incorporate lunch and make it a Thursday Field Trip. 2. Our big focus will be the Garden Walk on Sunday, March 6" from 1-4. We have selected several gardens and lots for refreshments. There will be opportunities for GC members to act as hostesses on these lots.
