I- Objectives
Content Standard: The learner identifies the various farm equipment and facilities in
poultry and swine production

Topic: Farm Equipment and Facilities in Poultry and Swine Production
Materials: Laptop, projector, slide presentation of the lesson
T.L.E. 7 Learning and Living in the 21 st Century (REX) by Leonora D. Basbas,
Ph.D.pp. 298-300

III- Procedure

Daily routine (Greetings, Prayer, Checking of Attendance, Review)

A. Activity
1. Motivation: The teacher will show picture of a poultry house and swine house

2. Group Activity- Brainstorming: The teacher will group the students into five,
give them a piece of manila paper and marking pen, then ask them to list as many
as equipment and facilities in poultry and swine production as possible.

3. Group Presentation: After 5 minutes the teacher will ask each group’s
representative to present their work. The teacher will wait until all of the groups
are finished with their presentation.
B. Analysis (Follow-Up Questions)
1. The teacher will ask them: How did you come up with your answers? Where did
you get your answers? Then the teacher will check each group’s output whether
or not the listed equipment and facilities are included in poultry and swine
production.

2. Presentation: The teacher will present the lesson for today: Equipment and
Facilities in Poultry and Swine Production.

3. What do you think is the importance of properly identifying the different


equipment and facilities in poultry and swine production?
*Value: How are you going to make yourself safe from occupational hazard?
C. Abstraction: The teacher will show the images of equipment facilities in animal and
swine production and asks them to identify each.

D. Application:
Let the students answer letter B, Check your Understanding on page 300 of the
module.
IV- Evaluation

V- Agreement
1. Ask the students to visit and observe how the fixtures, tools, and equipment are
maintained. Make a report of your observation and discuss it in class.
2. Collect pictures and clippings of various tools and equipment used on a particular
animal farm. Compile in a folder and label.
