Further to our below con�nuous updates, kindly note the following:
· Reposi�oning maneuver started at 1500 hrs. on 29/03/2021.
· Refloa�ng & reposi�oning process of MV. EVER GREEN has completely succeeded at 1530 hrs. on 29/03/2020.
· Vessel is underway to the great bi�er lakes tugged by “BARAKA 1” from the bow & by “CARL MAGNO” from
the stern.
· The rest of tugs are a�ending for safety measures.
· Expected to reach the lakes area around 2300 hrs.
We are following with Messrs. SCA closely regarding further arrangements of the convoys and will get back with
more details.

Pleased to inform you that MV EVER GIVEN has been refloated successfully after great & lengthy effort to refloat
her without injuries or pollution reported during this process.
29th Mar.
► Refloating operation commenced at 0350 LT.
► Vessel has been successfully refloated at 0440 LT.
► Completed refloating operation and repositioning the vessel at 0520 LT.

Although some steps were achieved in the re�loating operations yesterday, 27.03.2021, SC tugs were still unable to
re�loat the ship despite efforts made.
The continues re-�loating operation had allowed the vessel's stern to move 20 M to the West.
SC tugs suspending the re-�loating operation attempt at 2305 Hrs on 27.03.2021
Dredger "Mashhour" will resume dredging to remove sand from around the vessel’s bow.
SC Tugs expected to resume re-�loating operation around 1600 Hrs today.
Please �ind the attached photos of the SC Tugs during the re-�loating operation.
Furthermore, please note the below highlights of the press conference, which was held yesterday, 27.03.2021, by
the Suez Canal Authority’s Chairman Admiral Osama Rabie., for your kind information.

As soon as we conclude the re-�loating operation, the Suez Canal authority will work around-the-clock to evacuate
jammed vessels. We will sit with shipping operators and see what we can provide, as we cannot give up our
clients.

Convoy Traf�ic Status :
The blockage situation has led to a delay in both North & Southbound convoys on 23rd March, 24th March,
25th March, 26th March and 27th March resulting in huge traf�ic at anchorage on either side.
More than 330 ships carrying vital fuel and cargo are waiting to pass through the blocked waterway.
The entire Suez Canal traf�ics remains temporarily suspended.
Please �ind attached our update including all the vessels waiting at anchorage plus the vessels which were
scheduled to arrive yesterday 27.03.2021 till 2300 hrs.

Suez Canal Ship Grounding – Updates
Yesterday, 26.03.2021, SC Tugs have succeeded to re-�loat the ship's stern at 2100 Hrs and the ship's
propellers are now working in good condition.
Suez Canal Tugs ( Baraka 1, Ezzat Adel, Port Said 1, Tahia Misr 1, Mosaheb 2, Mosaed 3, Mosaed 2 & Capo
Gee) are continuing tugging attempts to dislodge & re-�loat the vessel., subject to wind direction and tide.
In addition, Salvage Boat ( MARIDIVE 5 ) is underway to the site to assist on the re-�loating process.
SC tugs stopped re�loating attempt 0001 Hrs.
Dredger "Mashhour" will continue dredging to remove sand and mud from where it is wedged into the side
of the canal bank.
SC Tugs expected to resume re�loating attempt around 1400 Hrs.
Kindly �ind attached the list of Vessels awaiting transit Suez Canal per current situation.
Delays for forthcoming transits may be expected.

Good Day ,
In continuation of the ongoing attempts to re�loat the grounded vessel in the Suez Canal, kindly �ind the recent
developing updates:
The percentage of completion of the dredging operation led by the dredger "Mashhour" for removing sand
surrounding the bulbous bow of the container ship EVER GIVEN has reached about 87%, with dredging
rates close to 17,000 cubic meters of sand
The dredger "Mashhour" started working 100 meters from the vessel yesterday, and today it has
progressed to 15 meters, and from a starting depth of half a meter to a dredging depth that is now 15
meters.
Towing by tug "Baraka 1" and the tug "Izzat Adel" will resume upon the completion of the dredging
operation, which ranges from 15 to 20,000 cubic meters of sand.
Hereunder, please �ind the current number of vessels waiting at the anchorage areas:
Port Said anchorage: 89 vessels and 30 vessels expect to arrive today 26 Mar 2021.
Great Bitter Lakes: 43 vessels

Please note that the situa�on for the Canal Transit s�ll remains the same.
Large tugs were not able to re-float the vessel Ever Given, therefore, the SCA has recalled her own 2 dredgers ( Al
Asher & Mashhour ) to the site to assist in re-floa�ng the vessel.
Works of refloa�ng of the Vessel have been suspended on 25/03/2021 from 01:00 hours to 06:00 hours
The SCA has decided to clear the Canal from Vessels which were stuck behind Vessel Ever Given ( MV YM
Fountain, MV Maersk Denver and MV Asia Rubi III) back to Suez anchorage as follows:
- M/V YM Fountain (275 M) returned back at 0050 Hours LT in 25/03/2021 towed by SC Tugs to wait at
Suez Anchorage
- M/V Asia Ruby III (200 M) returned back at 0950 Hours LT in 25/03/2021 towed by SC Tugs to wait at
Suez Anchorage
- M/V MAERSK DENVER (275 M) in her way to Suez Anchorage

Please note regarding 23rd March NB convoy, only 7 vessels at the early convoy have been cleared the canal. The
normal convoy was containing 20 vessels; 4 vessels have cleared the canal while EVER Given was the 5th one
suspended to leave behind 15 vessels wai�ng between the canal entrance and Suez anchorage area.
For 24th March NB convoy, please note that 27 Vessels are wai�ng to transit the Canal.
For 23rd March SB convoy, all the vessels have been cleared the Canal.
For 24th March SB convoy, it has been started at 09:00 Hours LT as SC Authority has decided to let 13 vessels to
enter the Canal while they are dropping anchors in the Greater Bi�er Lakes un�l the situa�on solve.
Suez Canal Authority’s Chairman, Admiral Osama Rabei confirmed that the rescue and tug units (8/9 units) are
working on refloa�ng the giant containership, this has been stated during the Admiral’s following-up the rescue
work in the site itself. The Admiral assured that SCA does not save any efforts to guarantee the world’s naviga�on
regularity and to serve the best interests of the world’s trade.
