Subject: Request for staying in the hostel for online classes due to connectivity issues in my village
Respected Sir,
It is respectfully stated that I am currently in the final semester of the industrial and
manufacturing engineering department. Sir, I live in a small village in south Punjab there is no
availability of even 2G internet. In my last 2 semesters, I had to travel about 40km daily to take online
class to the nearest city due to which I missed my some classes and wasted time and as a result, my GPA
dropped from 3.00. My GPA during online classes I have taken while staying home was 2.45 which is the
lowest of my whole degree. Therefore I request you to please allow me to stay in the hostel or allot me a
hostel with those students to whom the university is allowing to stay. Currently, I am staying in Q. Hall
Room # 72. Sir it's my last semester and all subjects are very important if went back to my home then that
semester will be affected very badly.
I assure you that I will strictly follow the SOPs imposed by University administration during my stay in
hostel.
