WORD COUNT : 848

As a whole, I believe the team worked well together. Each member did their part of the work and
contributed to the different discussions we held. During the first meeting, we started by clarifying and
distributing the roles: leader and secretary. I help choose the topic due to my acknowledged knowledge
of the sport. I also help my mate Lindsay to formulate the question to divide the work between each
member. This topic was an advantage for me because I could provide crucial examples and ideas for the
project. Lindsay also found a source that provided us with tones and tones of information on our topic.
During the research, I tried to help other members such as ruby because I had some ideas on the task
which was assigned to her. Each member did their research on their own and sent their findings to all the
other members. We decided as a group to make a video as an outcome, In our group, we each criticize
the wrongs of each other and we all learn from each other, The different opinion and ideas bought up
were interesting and intriguing which made me like working in this group even though there was some
time of unserious where we meet up and discussed of some irrelevant things which helped in my opinion
to strengthen the bonds between us, also being the only boy with four girls was not easy because I felt
uncomfortable but I overcame it.

Our group video included the most relevant information from each of our research. We emphasize the
fact that sports help in building a relationship between people of different cultures and religions which
helps in reducing conflicts and in building peace and bring the world into harmony, which is fundamental
for the well-doing of everyone. Some of these examples are: In ivory coast sports help in the solving of
the civil war which cause the of thousands of people but due to the first qualification of their national
team to the world cup and after the memorable speech of their striker Didier Drogba imploring the two
parties in the war to forgive each other.

TEAMWORK

However, if I could improve one thing it would be that we reduce the time we lose in the irrelevant
discussion because it may have helped to improve the presentation of our work. After there was also
some quarrels between the female member of my group about their issues and also about what should
be in the outcome. There were also issues with the video because before the outcome we saw the video
only once because Lindsay who was supposed to do the video couldn't bring her computer. After all, it
was a desktop and the video was heavy so it was not able to enter a USB according to her. Moreover,
this created a huge conflict and quarrel between her and koretta another member, it was quite a serious
quarrel but we were able to overcome these problems together. Also, we had a problem when doing
our interviews because the first time we interviewed people we used a computer and the quality of the
image and sound wasn't the best and no member of the group had a camera so we seek permission from
our supervisor to bring a phone to carry on with our interviews.

PERFORMANCE AS A MEMBER

When coming up with the example of the use of sport as a peace-building tool it was fairly easy to agree
on which examples we all felt were best. Like I said before, my team and I are different but this didn't
stop us from all agreeing on what was best for our outcome. We work well together which is maybe a
side effect of having different perspectives on the impact of sport on society. This could seriously foster
our research since our perspectives are diverse and limited to our scopes as sixteen-year-olds. However,
we tried our best to remove our personal biases from the argument when assessing the articles and
information which we gathered. Thus we believe our example of sport as a peace-building tool is valid.
Our team thought some look at some solutions that already exist which may be used to educate the
public on the implication of sport on our life.

LEARNING ABOUT DIFFERENT CULUTURAL PERSPECTIVE

Our team, outcome takes in consideration what happen worldwide and this was represent through an
inspiring video of how sport help in Tunisia which showed me how sport could help to canalize and bring
the youth together.

LEARNING FROM THE PROJECT

Personally as a sportive, before this work, I couldn't realize how huge sport impact our life in
peacebuilding and also showed me that in sport good values and ideas are taught and implement which
helps in creating a relationship between people from many places in the world such as in the FIFA world
cup where countries in all the part of the world take part to win and to be declared strongest team in the
world and this also help in the creating joy in the fans.
