Summary:
The XP Series program has been updated to version 00-07.

Detailed Information:
The XP Series program has been updated to version 00-07. Changes are
as follows:

<Changed Specifications>

1. "@" key has been added to the alphabet and numeric keypads to allow "@"
to be used for POP user name, etc.
For upper case, "QZ" key has been changed to "QZ@".
For lower case, "qz" key has been changed to "qz@".

 <Resolved issues>

1. Previously, on instruments for China, some characters were garbled in

"Settings Error" screen. This issue has now been resolved.
2. Previously, when there was no paper in a graphic printer (GP) and
multiple sample data were sent to the printer from stored data, "GP paper
empty" error occurred. There were also cases where only data for the first
sample was printed and data for the remaining samples were not printed
even though paper was subsequently refilled in the printer and [Retry]
button was pressed in the help screen.
Also, when the XP instrument was not connected to a graphic printer
(GP) and multiple sample data were sent to the printer from stored data,
"GP printout error" occurred. There were also cases where only data for
the first sample was printed and data for the remaining samples were not
printed even though the printer was subsequently connected to the
instrument and [Retry] button was pressed in the help screen.

These issues have now been resolved.

information.

<XP Series Program Upgrade Procedure>

Refer to the "XP Series Program Upgrade Procedure" in "Attachments". It
has been confirmed that upgrade can be done from either version 00-04,
00-05 or 00-06 to version 00-07.

Action To Be Taken :
This program will not be provided free of charge for instruments in the field. If you
need to update the program version, an order should be placed using the part
number listed below.
