1. Summary of any chapters of your choice from chapter 6-13.
Explain each importance to your understanding of Rizal as a
national hero.
- The tour of Dr. Rizal and Dr. Viola in Europe, this chapter tells
the tour of Dr. Rizal and Viola in Europe to have a vacation after
the releasing of Dr. Rizal’s book. They travelled in many parts of
Europe and have a good time. They met many people who
helped Rizal publish his books and visit many beautiful places
after everything RIzal comes back to Calamba, Laguna
-Jose Rizal became the Philippine national hero because
he fought for freedom in a silent but powerful way. He
expressed his love for the Philippines through his novels,
essays and articles rather than through the use of force
or aggression. 
2. Summarize the two major writings of Jose Rizal that
changed/influenced the Filipinos view of themselves and
their country.
-The Noli Me Tanggere and El fili busterismo are the
books that influenced the Filipinos view of themselved
and their country. This books are inspiration to many and
an inspiration to fight against aggression.
3. Did Rizal retract or not? Explain your answer
-No, Rizal did not retract. Although there were many opinions
and evidences presented by various authors as to whether Rizal
did or did not retract. Nonetheless, until now there is no proof
or any justification to end the debate
