Answers:

1. I think I can say about the contribution of Dr. Rizal to our country is the two novel he written. He
used his pen to expose the abuses of the power of the friars and the Spaniards. By these novels
many Filipinos are awaken and inspired to start the Philippine revolution.
2. Dr. Rizal called a hero because he fought for freedom for our country. He was silently working by
writing of his novels and used his education. Many Filipinos are awaken to the writings of Jose
Rizal and one of whom was Andres Bonifacio who led the Philippine Revolution. So, for Dr. Jose
Rizal “the pen was mightier than sword” and he proved it. And through his writings, he exposed
the corruption and wrongdoings of government officials as well as the Spanish friars. And his
death sparked to start the revolution of many Filipinos. He was brave and dignity to expressed
his love for the Filipino by his writings.
3. My own expectations for the life and works of Rizal is that to understand and to know more
about our hero Dr. Jose Rizal. As a youth, I want to know the history of our country and how
Rizal fought for freedom.
