Khadeeja welcomes the class, she provides (class rules and being safe rules).
She starts the lesson with puzzle activity, she shares the link in the chat box.
She introduces the lesson topic.
She explains the new words.
She plays sky song.
She presents some questions, then she calls students name to answer.
She plays a video.
Then she asks to open book, she asks the students to answers the activities in the book
and share the answers.
She share live worksheet to do.
Khadeeja asks the learner who have done the first task to do the second task,
(excellent work).
For closing, she asks the student (what can we use to see object in the sky?), the
students answer the question.
She dose self-assessment at the end of the session.
You need to improve this area, when you play song please aim to sing along with
students.
The second video was very long, it would be a good idea to stop and ask some
questions that can help the learners to understand the video, by this way you can
make sure all of the are watching video.
Assessment
Strengths:
To assess student’s understanding Khadeeja provides students with different tasks related to
the lesson concept. She used book to answer some activities, live worksheet and verbal
questions.
Areas for improvement:
Reflection on Practice
Strengths:
Khadeeja was able to make very astute observations about her own strengths and
weaknesses! For this reason, I know that her progress will be significant in her future
teaching lesson.
Areas for improvement:
According to Khadeeja’s reflection, she needs to improve class management skills. You can
work on this Khadeeja, I believe that day by day of teaching you will develop this skill.
o Please continue working hard, observing (and learning from) your MST and reflecting
on your practice!
