1) answer at least 5 out of 6 listening questions correctly.

2) interview 3 of their friends on what they did in the past using the correct sentence

Lesson Development
PRESENTATION:
1) Teacher reviews previous lesson of past simple tense.
2) Teacher gives more example to pupils on converting base word to simple tense
form.
3) Teacher calls pupils to give some more example of simple past words.
4) Teacher has pupils to look at activity 1 on page 36 and discusses the answer
together.

PRACTICE:
1) Pupils do activity 2 on page 36 from textbook inside their exercise book by
listening to audio played by teacher.
2) Teacher plays the audio twice and have pupils do the activity.
3) Teacher discusses answer with pupils.
PRODUCTION:
1) Teacher teaches how to use speaking template in simple past tense.
2) Teacher gives example on how to ask questions and give answer using the simple
past tense.
3) Pupils copy the speaking template inside their exercise book and practice using
them in their own.
4) Pupils interview 3 of their friends using the speaking template by asking what they
did in the past and write their friends’ answer inside their exercise book.

1) Teacher asks pupils to turn to their right partner and tell one thing that they
