The given line graph illustrates how smoking habits of males and females
changed somewhere in the World between 1960 and 2000.

Overall, the number of smokers among men decreased over the period, while
for women, it increased. The number of male smokers exceeded that of female
smokers in all years.

In terms of the number of smokers out of 1000 men, it started at 600 and
experienced a steady decline, dropping to around 250 at the end of the period.
The sharpest decrease during these years was observed from 1990 to 1995
(more than 100).

On the other hand, as regards to how many females smoked among 1000
women, it doubled from 100 to 200 in the first 5 years. This figure saw no
change between 1965 and 1970 before rising sharply to just over 300 in 1975.
Over the following 5 years, this it leveled off again and fell to 200 in the final
year.

The given line graph illustrates the smoking rates of women and men
somewhere.
Overall, during this period, the proportion of men who smoked decreased,
while women did the opposite.
In terms of men, the number of smokers per thousand people reached its
peak(600 out of 1000) in 1960 and the lowest in 2000(240 out of 1000). The
sharp fall in the number of men who smoked occurred in 1990-1995(from 390
to 290).
As regards to the women smokers who smoked, the lowest rate happened in
the 1960s(1000 out of 90) and the highest in the 1975s and 1980s(1000 out of
310). The number of women smokers per 1000 people stabilized between 1965
and 1970, but increased again until 1975, when they leveled of again. The
figure of men and women smokers was almost equal in 2000.
