fruits across the river and he wants to taste
it. In order to taste the fruit he needs to
cross the river and he tricked Sang Buaya .

What did Sang Kancil said to Sang Buaya

so that he can convince him to line up with
other crocodiles?
He told to Sang Buaya that the King asked him to
count the crocodiles because they are all invited
for the feast, so they need to line across the river
so that they can count them ma’am.
Exactly! What is the other reason why
Sang Kancil did that to Sang Buaya?
Because Sang Buaya and other crocodiles were

needs to think of a way for him to escape
from the crocodiles. And the best thing to
do is to trick the crocodile, Sang Buaya.

Why did Sang Buaya believe Sang

Kancil?

Because Sang Kancil told him about the feast and

Correct. He was happy about the feast. they are invited ma’am.

What is the moral or lesson of the

folktale?
Be resourceful every time so that you will get or
achieve what you want ma’am.
Yes. Because Sang Kancil thinks of a way
so that he will cross the river at the same
time Sang Buaya and other crocodiles will
not eat him. Do not be gullible and do not easily trust someone
ma’am just because they said something good or
things that will benefit you.

Yes. Sang Buaya believe what Sang

Kancil said just because he said about that
the king invite them for the feast. Sang
Buaya didn’t even think twice of his
decision.

Just like the title outwitting the crocodile

meaning tricked someone with more
intelligent and that’s what Sang Kancil
did. He thinks of a very smart and safe
way to cross the river. At the same time he
taught Sang Buaya and other crocodiles a
lesson which is not to be bad to other
animals. And that’s how Sang kancil
outwitted Sang Buaya.

B. Abstraction

going to compare and contrast Sang
