I. Opening Prayer: The meeting started with an opening prayer lead by Mrs. Ma. Chona Ababa.
II. Meeting Proper: The adviser welcomed the parents to the said meeting and introduced herself to them.
Then she directly introduced the agenda to talk about during the meeting.

1. Grade 7 students’ population/enrolment for this year and the grading system were explained.
2. Upcoming activities –The following schedule were presented to the parents.

III. HRPTA Project Proposal: The teacher talked about the HRPTA Projects realized every year as proof of
the proceeds of the HRPTA project fee donated by the parents. Since the first HRPTA was conducted by
Mrs. Novelyn Briola (the adviser was on maternity leave), the financial report of the Homeroom PTA Project
was already explained and introduced to them with the window grills still cited by the adviser as proof of the
HRPTA project realized. With this, the teacher asked the parents if they want to have HRPTA project this
year and for them to decide, she presented the proposed HRPTA project which were the bulb (for proper
lighting since the classroom is dark),garbage cans and dust pans (for proper garbage disposal).
V. Approval and planning for the Homeroom PTA Project. With the elected president of the classroom,
they agreed to have a HRPTA Project which was the proposed items above with a contribution of Php50.
00 each.
VI. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 1st periodic examination had already taken, it was explained how
the ranking of the students was done and explained that the present ranking was treated as far as the
ranking in the k-12 curriculum was given attention. In addition, it was also explained the conditions on how
to be included in the ranking like; having no line of 7 grades in all quarters in all subject areas, general
average or final rating of 90 up every quarter to be included in the ranking with the following descriptions;
98-100 - with highest honors
95-97 - with high honors
90-94 - with honors
VII. The top 3 of the class was announced since only two were qualified garnering the average of 91 up and the
rest were treated as the challengers but still presented the ranking and performance of each student for
them to see the progress of their child, by presenting and showing to them the list of the ranking made by
the teacher. The following top 9 was presented.

Furthermore, whole ranking was presented because there is a possibility that some changes may occur as
the grading period progressed. This ranking was presented so that the parents would see the performance
of their students and so that they can motivate their children to focus and be motivated by them to study
hard to improve or maintain the good start. Indeed, this information is very important to the parents.
VIII. Other matters: The adviser explained to the parents the importance of the requirements which are the
F137 from elementary school where they came, the nature of the request and other possible ways of
having this. But follow up is needed to get the form 137 and submitted to the school. The students birth
certificate was also cited that NSO/PSA is needed to be submitted and that the BC they have submitted
which was coming from the local civil registrar should be changed to the BC from the NSO/PSA. The
curriculum of the students, different concerns in their subjects, the grading system, what they expect to
their cards, class schedule, official time, classroom concerns, health issues of the students, chairs and
other facilities of the school, weather condition especially for those students in far places and crossing the
river, classroom cleanliness, books, projects, absenteeism, requiring of excuse letter, 4Ps members and
many others were also given attention. All of these concerns were given clear understanding and
agreement between the parents and the teacher and all of the questions were answered during the open
forum.
IX. Releasing of Cards: When there were no any questions coming from the parents, the teacher released
the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child and told them to just return it
the next day after they have signed it.
X. Open Forum/Other matters: The adviser asked for some questions regarding things that they wanted to
be clarified but there were no questions raised about the grades. Some concerns regarding projects or
requirements and other clarifications were also given.
XI. Adjourned: The meeting was adjourned at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon. However, there was one on one
meeting to the parents who would like to personally ask for their students’ performance which were done
after the meeting. Several parents were able to ask some questions, and the teacher was able to satisfy
them with her answer.

I. Opening Prayer: The meeting started with an opening prayer lead by Mrs. Mitchie Lamud.
II. Meeting Proper: Ms. Jennifer Calwit was introduced by the adviser to the parents who attended the
meeting. She presided the meeting since she is the co-adviser of the class adviser and she also need to
meet the parents. The adviser assisted the presiding officer as they welcomed the parents to the said
meeting and introduced to them the agenda of the meeting.
III. Updates of the activities: The teacher gave the updates such as:
a. Nov. 31, 2019 - Thursday – English – Book Month Celebration
b. Nov. 29, 2019 – Jamboree @ Ligao City
c. Dec. 14, 2019 - Jan. 4, 2020 – Christmas Break
d. Jan. 6, 2020 – Resume of classes
IV. HRPTA Project Status Report: During the 1st GPTA meeting, the parents agreed to have a contribution of
Php.50.00 for this year’s project. It was announced to the parents that the PTA project was alrelady
realized.
The following presentation below shows the status of the collection of the P50.00 based from the data
given by the HRPTA Treasurer as agreed by the body and the lists of the materials that were bought..

Although the intended PTA project was already realized, the parents still want everybody to pay the
amount for some future project to be fair to everybody.

V. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 2nd periodic examination had already taken, it was once again
recalled as explained how the top ten was ranked and how the present ranking will be treated as far as the
ranking in the k-12 curriculum was given attention. It was explained to the parents how the students were
graded and how the ranking was made. In addition, it was also explained the conditions on how to be
included in the ranking like; having no line of 7 grades in all quarters in all subject areas, general average
or final rating in every quarter should be 90 up to be included in the ranking with the following descriptions;
98-100 - with highest honors
95-97 - with high honors
90-94 - with honors
VI. The top 2 of the class was announced since only two were qualified garnering the average of 90 up and
the rest were treated as the challengers but still presented the ranking and performance of each student
for them to see the progress of their child, by presenting and showing to them the list of the ranking made

Furthermore, top 11-15 was added because there is a possibility that some changes may occur as the
grading period progressed. This ranking was presented so that the parents would see the performance of
their students and so that they can motivate their children to focus and be motivated by them to study hard

VII. Open Forum/Other matters: The adviser asked for some questions regarding things that they wanted to
be clarified but there were no questions raised about the grades. Some concerns regarding projects or
requirements and other clarifications were also given. In addition, the teachers presented to the parents the
Christmas party to be done this coming December. It is always that the adviser asked the parents of their
decision about it, since they are the one who will be paying the amount if ever they approved it or not. The
parents agreed to have Christmas party and pay P100.00 as contribution and 50.00 for their exchange gift.
This activity however was explained that it is not compulsory.
VIII. Releasing of Cards: When there were no any questions coming from the parents, the teacher released
the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child and told them to just return it
the next day after they have signed it.

meeting to the parents who would like to personally ask for their students’ performance which were done

Time Started: 4:05 in the afternoon


I. Opening Prayer: The meeting started with an opening prayer lead by Mrs. Pilar Dacara, one of the Grade
7 parents who attended the meeting.
II. Meeting Proper: The adviser together with the co-adviser Mrs. Novelyn Briola welcomed the parents to
the said meeting and read the agenda to talk about in the meeting.
III. Updates: The teacher reported to the parents the different up-coming activities in school such as the
following:

IV. HRPTA Project Status Report: The status report of the Homeroom PTA Project was presented by the
teachers, together with the realized project which was the window grills as protection to the jalousie of the
windows of the classroom. The project was realized already although some were not yet paid through the
effort of the adviser.
The following detailed reports were presented:

V. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 2nd periodic examination had already taken, the adviser announced
that a lot of progress was shown in the performance of the students. In fact, the students who got with
honors increased from 3 to 5 students who got the average of 90 and above and gives little comparison
and shows some changes from the previous honor ranking. It was seen based from the result that there
were no changes in the ranking of the students from top 1 to 3 and only the challengers got the additional
rank places although there is an increase in their average. In addition, like what was done last meeting, the
teacher also emphasized the inclusion of top 15 as the basis of the changes occur every grading period.

There was a simple recognition followed as the teachers presented the ranking to with honors with certificate of
honor card and it was received by the student together with their parents. Of course as expected, some of the
parents were happy for the progress of their child but some felt lonely for some unexpected reasons; they fell
down to a lower rank. However, as what the adviser always do, she encourages them to guide their students to
still have progress in their performance and make study a habit because it is not yet over.

VI. Other matters: The teacher made mention of the students’ performance in the lesson and site some
examples which happened in actual teaching. She emphasized how it is important for the parents to have
enough time to guide their learners in their school works. And once again, the teacher reminded the
parents who were not able to submit yet the F137 of their child.
Before the releasing of cards, the teacher made mention of the Christmas Party this December. For
the record, the following were agreed by the parents:
1. There will be a class party this Christmas
2. They will have a contribution of P100.00 for foods the students prefer to prepare
3. There will be exchange gift amounting to P75.00 and up
4. The parents will be the one to prepare the foods as assigned to their student

the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child.
djourned: The meeting was adjourned at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon. But as usual, there were special
dialogue between some parents and the teacher who wants to know something about their students but do
not want to air questions during the meeting process. So as soon as the answers were given and they do
not have some questions, they all go home.

Time Started: 4:00 in the afternoon


I. Opening Prayer: The meeting started with an opening prayer lead by Mrs. Celerina Villamer, one of the
Grade 7 parents who attended the meeting.
II. Meeting Proper: The co-adviser Mrs. Novelyn Briola preside the meeting and welcomed the parents to
the said meeting and read the agenda to be talked about.
III. Updates: The teacher gave to the parents the different updates such as the following: Grade 12 Exit
Assessment to be done on February 13-14, 2019. It is only the grade 12 who will be included in the
assessment so the classes for junior high school will not be suspended. The deworming that was
scheduled last month was also explained for the sake of the information of everybody to understand its
importance to the students. The Wifa was also explained to the parents. However, it was reiterated that
although all of these were for the welfare of the students, the school still acknowledge the parents’ decision
if they are going to be given these health benefits or not. Thus, we always seek the parents permit and
responded according to what they wanted. In addition, the on- going early registration for grade 7 was also
explained for information dissemination purposes.
IV. HRPTA Project Status Report: The status report of the Homeroom PTA Project collection was presented
by the teachers,
The following detailed reports were presented:

Based from the report, only Php. 200.00 for two students were paid for the remaining amount.

V. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 3nd periodic examination had already taken, it was announced in
the performance of the students, still there were 5 students who got the average of 90 above. In the
announcement, little comparison from the previous grading period was given while the ranking was
announced, since there were many changes occur from rank 1-15. In addition, like what was done last
meeting, the teacher also emphasized the inclusion of top 15 as the basis of the changes occur every

It was explained that the given report was the progress of the collection and the total amount spent
was the final total amount spent for this school year’ HRPTA project.
Since every grading period, the teacher updates the parents, there were no given questions about the
reported financial status of the HRPTA project.
V. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 3rd periodic examination had already taken, the adviser announced
the ranking of the students with the average of 90 and above. In addition, like what was done last meeting, the
teacher also emphasized the inclusion of top 15 as the basis of the changes occur every grading period. The
following top 15 was as follows:

VI. Other matters: The teacher made mention of the students’ performance in the lesson and site some
examples which happened in actual teaching. She emphasized how it is important for the parents to
have enough time to guide their learners in their school works. It was also given emphasize the
importance of going to school early to avoid being late to school which may affect their performance in
the first period.
And once again, the teacher reminded the parents who were not able to submit yet the birth
certificate of the students from the PSA. They were also informed about the releasing and issuance of
F137 which is school to school bases.
VII. Releasing of Cards: When there were no any questions coming from the parents, the teacher released
the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child.
VII. Adjourned: The meeting was adjourned at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon. But as usual, there were special
dialogues between some parents and the teacher who wants to know something about their students but
do not want to air questions during the meeting process. So as soon as the answers were given and they
do not have some questions anymore, they all go home.
