V. Learner’s Progress Report: Since the 2nd periodic examination had already taken, it was once again
recalled as explained how the top ten was ranked and how the present ranking will be treated as far as the
ranking in the k-12 curriculum was given attention. It was explained to the parents how the students were
graded and how the ranking was made. In addition, it was also explained the conditions on how to be
included in the ranking like; having no line of 7 grades in all quarters in all subject areas, general average
or final rating in every quarter should be 90 up to be included in the ranking with the following descriptions;
98-100 - with highest honors
95-97 - with high honors
90-94 - with honors
VI. The top 2 of the class was announced since only two were qualified garnering the average of 90 up and
the rest were treated as the challengers but still presented the ranking and performance of each student
for them to see the progress of their child, by presenting and showing to them the list of the ranking made
by the teacher. The following top 10 was presented.

Furthermore, top 11-15 was added because there is a possibility that some changes may occur as the
grading period progressed. This ranking was presented so that the parents would see the performance of
their students and so that they can motivate their children to focus and be motivated by them to study hard
to improve or maintain the good start. Indeed, this information is very important to the parents.
VII. Open Forum/Other matters: The adviser asked for some questions regarding things that they wanted to
be clarified but there were no questions raised about the grades. Some concerns regarding projects or
requirements and other clarifications were also given. In addition, the teachers presented to the parents the
Christmas party to be done this coming December. It is always that the adviser asked the parents of their
decision about it, since they are the one who will be paying the amount if ever they approved it or not. The
parents agreed to have Christmas party and pay P100.00 as contribution and 50.00 for their exchange gift.
This activity however was explained that it is not compulsory.
VIII. Releasing of Cards: When there were no any questions coming from the parents, the teacher released
the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child and told them to just return it
the next day after they have signed it.
IX. Adjourned: The meeting was adjourned at exactly 4:45 in the afternoon. However, there was one on one
meeting to the parents who would like to personally ask for their students’ performance which were done

Noted:
There was a simple recognition followed as the teachers presented the ranking to with honors with certificate of
honor card and it was received by the student together with their parents. Of course as expected, some of the
parents were happy for the progress of their child but some felt lonely for some unexpected reasons; they fell
down to a lower rank. However, as what the adviser always do, she encourages them to guide their students to
still have progress in their performance and make study a habit because it is not yet over.
VI. Other matters: The teacher made mention of the students’ performance in the lesson and site some
examples which happened in actual teaching. She emphasized how it is important for the parents to have
enough time to guide their learners in their school works. And once again, the teacher reminded the
parents who were not able to submit yet the F137 of their child.
Before the releasing of cards, the teacher made mention of the Christmas Party this December. For
the record, the following were agreed by the parents:
1. There will be a class party this Christmas
2. They will have a contribution of P100.00 for foods the students prefer to prepare
3. There will be exchange gift amounting to P75.00 and up
4. The parents will be the one to prepare the foods as assigned to their student
VII. Releasing of Cards: When there were no any questions coming from the parents, the teachers released
the report cards to the parents for them to see the performance of their child.
djourned: The meeting was adjourned at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon. But as usual, there were special
dialogue between some parents and the teacher who wants to know something about their students but do
not want to air questions during the meeting process. So as soon as the answers were given and they do
not have some questions, they all go home.
