Your student's lesson time is reserved just for them, at the same time every week, for the full school year.

What are the options if we need to miss a lesson?

Your monthly tuition is always working for you, even if you are not able to attend a face-to-face lesson.

DID YOU CHOOSE TO SCHEDULE A CONFLICTING ACTIVITY?

The studio operates at full capacity each week. It is not possible to reschedule lessons missed due to parties, sports

events or practices, vacations, extra-curricular activities, doctor or dentist appointments, etc.

WILL YOU BE AWAY DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR?

Lesson times cannot be held for students who are absent without payment. However, for absences of 4 or more

consecutive lessons during the school year, you may reserve your lesson time by paying 50% of the tuition for that time.

DID YOUR TEACHER CANCEL? WHAT ABOUT PANDEMICS OR SNOW DAYS?

In most cases, lessons will take place Online. If online is not possible due to power outages or teacher emergency,
lessons may be rescheduled to Teacher Catch-Up weeks (see studio calendar) or one-hour Group Classes.

My student is sick...or we have sickness in our home

Please cancel in-person lessons. Online lessons, video exchange or rescheduling are available.

If a student is ill when they arrive at the studio (fever, vomiting, pink eye, heavy cough, etc.), or ill when I

arrive at your home, the lesson will be cancelled immediately and will not be rescheduled.

Oh no! I'm late / I forgot!

If you will be late, please text. Your lesson will end at the scheduled time, in respect for the next student.

Student lateness, no-shows, or same-day cancellations will not be rescheduled or refunded.

What about long weekends and pro-D days?
No lessons on Monday long weekends (Students attend Theory Club group class these weeks.)

Private lessons follow the regular schedule for other holidays and pro-D days.

The studio is closed during Christmas Break and March Break (See studio calendar for details).

Theory Club and Group Classes

You may sign up your child for any class at or below their level, space permitting. Since multiple options

are available, no rescheduled lessons are offered for missed group classes.

Lessons in your home:

An adult or designated babysitter of legal age must be present in the home during the lesson.

If you are not at home at the scheduled lesson time, I will text you and wait 15 minutes. Lessons shorter

than 15 minutes will be considered "no-shows" and will not be taught or rescheduled.

Traffic can be unpredictable. If I will be more than 10 minutes late I will text you.

Video Exchange and Online lessons have limited availability, due to scheduling constraints.
The student's attendance in this program is evidence of the parent's/student's agreement to the terms of this document.
