Nowadays, shopping is a part of our life, people buy things everyday such as food, clothes, shoes,
books and so on. There are two most popular ways to do shopping – online and in the store. To be
honest, I’m not such kind of person, who likes going shopping, that’s why I don’t do it so often. But
when I have to buy something or just want to do it, I usually go in the store in my town, because it is
better to touch, try on and choose something from big assortment. I can also ask my mum to help to
choose something.

2. In the past, people went to stores to buy things that they need, but now, there is a new mode which
is very popular to buy things – online shopping. Firstly, shopping online is a really save time way to do
shopping. Can you feel you waste half hour to find a store? I believe, finding a store at a street is a
terrible thing. Especially for the men, shopping with their girlfriend or wife, it is like a nightmare.
However, when we do shopping online we don’t need to waste time to find a store or a product. We can
just type the name and we can see it on the screen, we also can know the price, color, look, all
information of the product. And the store we find online is over the country even over the world that
makes us can choose the best one we find.

But fraud is the biggest disadvantage of online shopping. Many people are attracted by great offers
which seem too good to be true. Fake online shopping portals display some great products on the
website and attract customers to buy the product. There are many cases of cybercrime, where
customers debit or credit cards details are misused to make fraudulent transactions. The sad part of
online shopping also is, if you don’t like the product you get, you can return it, but it’s a big headache. If
you return the product, you will not be paid shipping charges which you had paid earlier. If you are
shopping for cosmetics like a lipstick, they can't be returned. All in all, for the lazy people, shopping
online is better than shopping in the store. Even though shopping in the store have some benefits,
shopping online will be the chose by most people.

3. In ancient times, clothes were quite expensive and not everyone could afford to buy it, so people had
no choice that's why they made clothes themselves. They used different materials and manufacturing
methods. Most people wore tunics and pants of any length. Over time, machines began to appear that
easily made large quantities of clothing, so it became much cheaper and everyone could afford to buy it.
With the advent of garment factories, people stopped making their own clothes because there was no
need for it.

4. There are events in our lives when we need to look at all 100. People spend a lot of money on a
luxurious dress or a solid suit, which is hidden in the closet and forget about it after event . I am
convinced that there is no need to buy expensive clothes only for one event. Of course you want to look
your best, but you can find another way. You can just take it for one day, not buy it, it's a really
profitable solution for such a situation.
