I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

A. unlock the meaning of unfamiliar words through context clues;


B. explain their understanding about the word epic;
C. point out worthwhile human values;
D. elicit ideas, insights and reflections about the story; and
E. show appreciation of the text through essay, poster, talk show, role playing, and
song rendering.

Before we proceed to our topic for today, I


would like you to participate in an activity
entitled
“JUMBLE-TUGAN”

What is the name of our activity again?


Sir! It`s “JUMBLE-TUGAN”
Class, I have here a box which contains
different facebook reactions. I will be passing
this box and each of you shall pick one.

pieces and cut-outs of pictures.
Now I`ll distribute the envelopes and paper
flags. All you have to do is to arrange the
puzzle to form an image.
After forming the image, the one who is holding
the paper flag will shout “GOD IS GOOD!” and
the rest of the members will respond “ALL THE
TIME!”

After that, assign one from the group to post


the image you have formed.

something about the picture.

I will give you five minutes to work on this


activity. As the activity starts the teacher will
play a music (It`s a small word tune- English
song) that serves as the timer in doing the
activity.
