1. Read the text: Top ten interview tips, and then match the headings (simple
phrase) with the paragraphs. Headings:

2. Read the text again and answer the questions:


a. Why is it important to make a good first impression?
R// Because interviewees tend to form an opinion about the interviewee based on
their appearance and body language; if you are clean, tidy and if you smile you will
give a positive image.
b. What should you do when you meet the interviewer?
R/ The main thing is to turn off the phone when entering the interview, and already
being with the interviewer we must be positive, sit up straight, answer the questions
without talking as much and talk about our skills and experiences.
c. Why is it a good idea to think of questions you can ask?
R/ because we must make sure that the university or work offers us what we need
d. How can you avoid being late for the interview?
R/ making sure I know how long the trip will take and how to get to the interview
location.
