LESSON
PROBLEM- A problem is something that is difficult to deal with. It is the cause of the
trouble, worries, etc.
SOLUTION – A solution is something done to solve a problem.
In identifying possible solutions to some problems remember it’s cause and effect.
Example of a problem:
At present, COVID- 19 cases increases , worse is ,some children are now infected.
Possible solutions:
Stay at home.
Wash hands with soap and water properly and regularly.
Wear face mask and face shield.
Practice social distancing.
Take vitamins.
Eat nutritious food like fruits and vegetables.
Have enough sleep.
Drink lukewarm water , avoid cold drinks.
Exercise regularly.
Guided Practice:
A.Write the possible solutions for the following problem on the
space provided. Choose the letter of the correct answer inside the
box.
The Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 has spread all over the world.
It is believed to have originated in Wuhan ,China. This virus mainly affects the
respiratory systems of humans. When one gets this virus he/ she may have mild
to severe symptoms. Some also show no symptoms.
Many have already died due to this virus. Scientists around the world are
doing their best to control the dreadful effects of the virus. Different versions of
vaccines have been invented and tested to give immunity to individuals. Some
countries have already started their vaccination program. It is believed through
this vaccines, the spread of virus will be controlled.
Based on the selection, the problem is the occurrence and spread of
COVID-19. This problem leads to dreadful effects.
In solving the problem, scientists have worked hard to discover the
vaccines that will help in controlling the spread of the virus.
