Experiment Title:
Verification of Bernoulli’s Theorem with the help of a Bernoulli’s Apparatus.
Objectives:
 To determine pressure head at different sections.
 To calculate the velocity of flow at different sections using the continuity
equation, (Q=AV) .
 To determine elevation head at different sections.
 To verify Bernoulli’s theorem.
Experiment No: 2
Experiment Title:
Measurement of Center of Pressure on a Partially Submerged Plane Surface.

Objectives:
 To locate the center of pressure from the pivot point.
 To determine the resultant hydrostatic pressure and force.
𝑊
 To plot the vs. y curve and compare the slope of the graph with the

Experiment Title:
Measurement of Absolute Viscosity of Fluid by a Say-bolt Viscometer.

Objectives:
 To determine the absolute viscosity of fluid at different temperature using a Say-
bolt viscometer.
 To plot absolute viscosity vs. temperature curve.
Experiment No: 4
Experiment Title:
Performance Test of a Radial Blower.

Objectives:
 To draw the inlet pressure, outlet pressure and total pressure vs. rpm curve.
 To draw the inlet pressure, outlet pressure vs. degree of damping curves.
 To draw the flow rate through the blower (at the degree of damping 0).
Experiment No: 5
Experiment Title:
Performance Test of a Centrifugal Pump Connecting in Series and in Parallel.

Objectives:
 To determine the flow rate (Q) for a single pump, two pumps in series connection
and two pumps in parallel connection.
 To measure the total head (H) developed by a single pump, two pumps in series
connection and two pumps in parallel connection.
 To draw the curves for Q vs. H for a single pump, two pumps in series connection
and two pumps in parallel connection.
