Text 2

2. Readability

For readability in text 2, the translation is easy to understand and well written, and there are no
discordant words to read, so that the reader can understand it well.

But the grammar doesn't really follow the general rules of the target language. An example is the
sentence "Para siswa ini pasti dapat belajar, tetapi mengerjakan yang terbaik pada tes standar
adalah yang paling tidak menjadi perhatian mereka." This sentence has already been translated
into the target language but still uses the grammar of the source language.

And for the diction used is not in accordance with the context of the target language, for
example, such as the sentence "Dia menunjukkan betapa rusak dan konyolnya memasukkan nilai
ujian siswa disaat mengevaluasi guru." in this translation sentence, the translator does not use a
choice of words from the target language that can give the same meaning from the source
language well.

For spelling and punctuation it is also appropriate to use, although it looks like using too many
commas, which might make the reader less aware of the meaning of the translation.

But the translation result, in aspect of readability for this text, is good enough.
