i) Count objects in groups.
ii) Name the number for a group of objects to represent its quantity.
LEARNING STANDARDS
1.2.2 Determine the number values up to 100
i) Show the quantity of the given number.
ii) Match group of objects with its number.
By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:-
1. Count objects in groups.

1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Teacher explains to pupils that number is an amount of objects. Numeral is a symbol that
represents the number of objects.
3. Pupils are guide to count objects and say the correct number of the counted objects.
ACTIVITIES Avoid pupils counting by memorising. (21st CA)
4. Pupils are guide to use the abacus or number cards to show particular number.
5. In groups, pupils are ask to match the number with the same conters to represent the
number shown. (21st CA)
6. Pupils do activity book. (Page 6-7) (CBA)
7. Teacher summarizes the lesson for today.
