This would be a causal study. The machine tool operator trying to

It is an analytical study because the machine tool operator trying to
establish the fact fumes cause low efficiency and convince his supervisor
through establish cause and effect relationship analysis

This would be a field experiment. Through the study would be
discovered within the natural surroundings of the employee where the
work is done. The number of fumes can have to be compelled to be
manipulated where other fact like atmospheric pressure may have to be
controlled.

Unit of analysis would be the analysis operators. Data will be collected
with respect to every collector and then the conclusion will be made

3 Scenario
I think in this case we choose an exploratory study is undertaken when not much is
known about the situation at hand, or no information is available or How similar
research issues have been solved in the past in such case extensive preliminary
work to need to gain familiarly with the phenomena in the situation & understand
what is occurring before we develop a model and setup a rigorous design for
comprehensive investigation.

And it is a correctional study & Am a researcher use longitude studies take more
time & effort and cost than other. A rigorous research design that might involve
higher cost is essential if the result of the study are critical for making important
decision affecting the organization’s survival or the wellbeing of the vast majority of
the publics of the system. It is the best to think about the research design decision
issues even as the theoretical framework is devolved.
