Course Code: ENCON 1 Course Title: ENGINEERING ECONOMICS
Course Description: This subject includes concepts of the time value of money and equivalence; basic economy study methods; decisions under certainty; decisions
recognizing risk; and decisions admitting uncertainty.

Course Policies:
1. A maintaining general weighted average of 80 is required every end of semester. If the student fails to do so, he can appeal only twice.
2. Mock board exam is a requirement as part of the course comprehensive review.

3. A student who intends to drop any course enrolled for a particular semester may do so, provided that the official dropping of the course is made before the midterm. Dropping which is
done after the midterm shall be given a grade of “5.” (Section 3)
4. Dropping forms must be accomplished and submitted to the Office of the University Registrar before a student is officially considered as “Dropped” from the roll. (Section 4)
5. Unauthorized dropping may result to a grade of “5.0”in the course. (Section 5)
