Q4. Review the following Influencer Campaigns. Why do you think these become successful?

a. UberPakistan – Move with Uber and #HojaoUnstoppable


Move with Uber - was an exciting campaign as this was launched during PSL in Dubai. During
this campaign Uber organized race in every match in which people challenge the cab on the
digital perimeter board for a race. It was fun to watch with the way people ran and there were
prizes as well for the participants.

#HojaoUnstoppable - offered the public a trip to Dubai as PSL was going on in Dubai during that
time. Darren Sammy, Hasan Ali and Kainat Imtiaz promoted this campaign and asked public to
share their version of the Uber anthem and the video with more shares or retweets will get to
win an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai for PSL. In this way people shared their versions of
#HojaoUnstoppable and this campaign became successful.

b. Head&Shoulders Pakistan - #DandruffFreePakistan

This campaign involved the audience in all PSL matches and people in the stadium started doing
that iconic hair flip move to show support for dandruff free Pakistan. Marketing campaigns like
these are not only fun to watch but they also set an example for other brands as they make
public a part of your campaign. Celebrities like Shahid Afridi, Ramiz Raja and Ali Zafar also took
part and did the iconic move. This campaign was also compared with a song which features
Ranveer Singh as that step in the song was similar to this campaign.

c. LaysPakistan - #Lays #HumSubKaFavorite

Lays is a fun product and the ad was equally fun to watch. It resonates with the boy who got in
trouble in class thanks to the crunchy sound and the boy who dares to open a pack in the
company of savages. Plus bonus points for having the ‘Axcuse me' guy!

Lays also launched webisode “Hum Sub ke Favorite Celeb aur Un ke Favorites” on their social
media pages in which celebs like Sarah Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Osman Khalid, Iqra Aziz and
Muneeb butt were asked about their favorite things. This campaign was successful as the public
also got involve with the Hashtag of #HumSubKaFavorite and started showing support with how
they made lays as their favorite.

Q5 – Who do you think did it better? Bollywood or Lollywood, Compare the Instagram
strategies of Paray hut love and Dabang3 …

Parey hut love had an Instagram page with 22.4k followers; meanwhile Dabang 3 did not have
any prior page to its movie. The movie has been usually promoted through cast profiles and
also mentions of movies in their respective Indian entertainment pages. Dabang 3 had more
wide physical promotions throughout India e.g., going to different channels, entertainment
shows, sports shows etc., which ultimately you would also find on Instagram too. Parey Hut
love has done great job they have regularly engaged with fans giving them chance to interact,
releasing trailers and song, BTS videos and other attractive stuff. They organized live sessions on
Instagram for fans interaction with cast of Parey hut love. If you visit the page of Parey hut love
and you still haven’t watched the movie then you would be persuaded to watch it now.

In our Opinion, Parey hut love has done wonderful job over Dabang 3. But that cannot be the
case with all Lollywood movies.
