Technique Step 1:

• Section the hair into four sections, from front to back and ear to ear.

•B
 eginning in the left front quadrant, slice a 1/4-inch section straight across
at the bottom of the section. Lay foil.

•A
 pply (1) Lighten Up + 20 volume Cream Developer 1/4-inch away from
the scalp through the ends. Fold the foil using a chopstick to enclose the
product.

•R
 epeat the same process, working from the bottom of the section to the
round of the head. Complete all four sections.

Processing time: Process to approximately 2/3 of the desired lightness.

Technique Step 2:

• Slightly pull the foil until the lightener line of demarcation is visible.

•G
 ently apply a fresh mixture of (1) Lighten Up + 20 volume Cream Developer
to the re-growth only. Begin in the front then move to the back sections.

Processing time: Check for and process to the desired lightness.

Rinse Lighten Up thoroughly from the hair. Apply The Super Strengthener™
to hair and process for 10-15 minutes. Shampoo with Shampoo One® and
follow with Hair Repair Treatment®.

Technique Step 3:

•T
 owel dry or gently blow-dry the hair. Apply (2) PM SHINES 1 1/2 oz. 9NB
