the cut:
Step 1:
Start design line in the back. Taking horizontal sections about 2 inches thick, lay the razor flat on the hair about 1.5
inches above where the design line will fall. Scrape the hair with the razor to create a fractured edge. Continue this
pattern to the apex, while slightly elevating the hair in each section.

Step 2:
2.
In the front, take 2-inch-wide vertical sections from the center part to the ear. Starting at the bang, hold the razor
about 1 inch above the design line and repeat the scraping motion. As you move from the bang to the ear,
connect this section to the back. Bring each section to the face. Continue this pattern to the apex. Repeat process
on the other side.

Step 3:
Create a defined bang area. Take a pie shaped section and cut 1/2 the bang just below the eyebrows.

Step 4:
3.
At this point, hair should be dried with textureline volumegel. Before applying the finishing products, personalize
the design by taking large sections of hair and using a shear, follow the pattern of the haircut. Remove additional
weight or add texture depending on client’s hair type.

the finish:
Step 1: the dry-off
Apply textureline volumegel to the regrowth area. Apply textureline aeromousse to the lengths of the hair. Using
your fingers and a blow dryer, direct hair towards the back, creating a slight bend to the ends. Using a large round

brush, dry the bang area smooth and straight down.

Step 2: the design

Using your fingers and textureline texturefreeze, adjust the final look to your liking.

Step 3: the finish

The last step is ultimate shine. Spray a generous amount of textureline textureshinespray.
