Technique, Step 1:
Begin by sectioning the hair.

1 1 • The key point of this technique is making sure to interlock and connect
2 1 3 2 the sections on opposite sides of the head.
• Part hair off center towards the left side. Make a part from the division
point behind the ear on a slight diagonal. Section off four panels
diagonally, towards the front, on the small side and clip. Move to the
other larger side and section into four matching panels. Clip.
• This will leave a large upside down “V” shape along the top of the
back of the head.
Technique, Step 2:
• Starting with the panel at the back right side, take a small amount of
hair from the top part of the right side, in alignment with the left panel,
clip over and incorporate into the left side panel. Apply Dual-Purpose
Lightener + 10 volume Cream Developer (2). Overlay with foil. 1 1

• On the next panel, coming from the left side, apply Paul Mitchell® the 2 1

color 8NB + a dash of 8RO + 20 volume Clear Developer (3). Overlay 2

with foil.
