Technique Step 1:
• Begin
 at the back of the fringe area, creating a
checker or houndstooth pattern first. After establishing
those pieces, immediately beneath that section, add
a slice section. Apply foil for a platform.
•A
 pply (1) Dual-Purpose Lightener + 10 volume Cream
Developer from the scalp, stopping at the midshaft
where the houndstooth pattern pieces live. In between
the houndstooth pieces, apply (1) Dual-Purpose
Lightener + 10 volume Cream Developer from the
middle of the hairshaft through the ends. Overlay with foil.
•R
 epeat the above process on the top rounds of both the
left and the right sides.

Processing Time: 20 minutes

• Remove
 foil, rinse thoroughly, and shampoo with
Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo. Remove the
moisture from the hair.

Technique Step 2:
• Apply
 (2) INKWORKS equal parts Hot Pink + Red
from scalp to ends.

Processing Time: 15 minutes

• Rinse
 thoroughly and shampoo with Color Protect Post
Color Shampoo and finish with Color Protect® Daily
Conditioner or Color Protect® Reconstructive Treatment
if needed.

Technique 1:
• Begin
 by isolating a segment just above the round in
the fringe area. Create a slice, lay foil, and apply
(1) Dual-Purpose Lightener + 20 volume Cream
Developer on a diagonal off the midshaft through the
ends. Fold foil over to protect.
•C
 reate another slice directly above the previous segment
and apply (1) Dual-Purpose Lightener + 20 volume
Cream Developer from just off of the scalp to the ends
directly onto the previous foil.
•E
 stablish another slice directly above the previous
segment and apply (1) Dual-Purpose Lightener on a
diagonal midshaft through the ends, this time reversing
the diagonal to face the other direction. Fold the foil
over again.
•M
 oving to the left side of the head shape, closer to the
hairline, repeat the above steps.
•O
 n the right side, behind the hairline at the side, isolate
another segment. Create one slice and apply (1) Dual-
Purpose Lightener on a diagonal. Fold foil to protect.
•R
 epeat the three-section technique along the right
and left top rounds of the head.
3 FOIL SECTION

 Technique: Teasy Hi-Lights Color: (1) T easy Hi-Light Accent: Dual-Purpose Lightener
Natural Level: 5 + 20 volume Cream Developer,
process 20 minutes

Technique:
• Working
 on the side of the head closest to the part,
take a rectangle section, approximately 1” x 2”.
•P
 ull the section straight up and backcomb (tease) gently
down to the base. Apply (1) Dual-Purpose Lightener +
20 volume Cream Developer from the middle of the
hairshaft through the ends. Overlay with foil.
• “ Tease” on the underside of the section, repeating
until you have created a cushion of hair at the base of
the section. Keep in mind the hair left out is what will
be lightened.
• Place
 the foil over the base of the section using a
rat-tailed comb or chopstick. Apply (1) Dual-Purpose
Lightener + 20 volume Cream Developer to the hair
left out of the “tease.” Fold the foil.
• Repeat if more dimension is desired.

Processing Time: 15 minutes

• Remove
 foil(s). Rinse thoroughly and shampoo with
Color Protect Post Color Shampoo and finish with
Color Protect Daily Conditioner or Color Protect
Reconstructive Treatment if needed.

5 volume Developer
Total Processing Time: 40 minutes

Technique 1:
• Create
 an isolated section behind the fringe above the
right eye. Lay foil, subsection, and apply (1) Dual-Purpose
Lightener + 10 volume Cream Developer on a diagonal
through the ends. Fold foil over section. Subsection again,
and apply (1) Dual-Purpose Lightener + 10 volume Cream
Developer from the base of the hair through the ends. Cover
section using the same foil. On the last subsection, apply
(1) Dual-Purpose Lightener + 10 volume Cream Developer,
again slightly off the scalp through the ends. Cover with foil.
•R
 epeat on the opposite side of the fringe area.
•M
 ove back along the round of the head shape on both
sides, repeating the same process as above. The number
of sections will be based on the desired end result.

Processing Time: 20 minutes

• Remove foil, rinse thoroughly, and shampoo with
Color Protect Post Color Shampoo. Remove the
moisture from the hair.

Technique 2:
• Apply
 (2) Paul Mitchell the color 1oz. 7CC + 1 oz.
5 volume Cream Developer from scalp to ends.
Comb through.
3 FOIL SECTION
