Technique:

3 • Section a circular section about the size of a silver dollar on the top round of the head.

Secure with a clip.
• Next, randomly section crescent shaped slices around the circular section and hand
paint alternating formulas (1), (2) and (3). The placement, width and number of sections
will be dependent on the desired end result and haircut.
• Overlay each section with foil.
• Release the circular section at the top of the head and apply Paul Mitchell the color
1 oz. 9WB + 1 oz. 20 volume Cream Developer (3).
Note: Model’s base color was touched up with Paul Mitchell the color 9WB, making
9WB an ideal color for the top circular section. Your color choice with this technique will be
dependent on your client’s canvas and the amount of contrast you desire.

Processing Time: 35 minutes


• Rinse thoroughly and shampoo with Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo and finish
with Color Protect® Daily Conditioner.
