IS-2062-2011-E250 Gr C or Equivalent subject to compliance with Mechanical and Chemical properties of this
specification.

 Killed & Normalised Rolling

Thickness < 40 mm  100% ultrasonically tested as per ASTM-A578 level B and
EN-10160-S2 from 10 mm and above.

2. Simulation Heat Treatment, for Plates produced by TMCP.
3. Mechanical Properties in Z Direction (i.e. across thickness)
4. Y Groove Crackability Test.

10. Visual inspection:

 Plate MUST be free from lamination
 Plate MUST be free from Scabs, Pits, Burrs, Laps & Rolled-in-scale
 The Surface should be free from surface defects and condition of the plate shall be as per
EN -10163-2-2004-Class B-sub clause 3.
 Welding repairs are prohibited.

11. Test certificate:

As per EN 10204 Type- 3.1

12. Packing conditions:

LOOSE

13. Preferred length of plate:

12- 12.5 METER

14. Marking:
Hard Punching as per IS: 2062 -2011 or Applicable code

Thickness Side Marking by stencilling or sticker.
