Application Instructions
This application form details all resources and evidence needed to apply for virtual classroom
accreditation. We strongly advise that you read the IWCF Virtual Classroom Guidance (AC-
0121) before completing your application.
1. In Section 1 clearly answer all the questions and provide evidence to support your answers.
For your application to be accepted you must submit all the required information. This
includes all mandatory fields from the application form. Failure to complete these fields will
result in your application being rejected on the grounds that it is incomplete.
2. In Section 2 complete a “course delivery table” for each of the programmes you wish to
deliver by VLE. This is a short form and is a summary of your lesson plans. We have
included this to make the process simpler for everyone.
3. In Section 3 tick the ‘evidence submitted’ box in each section of this application to
indicate the requested evidence has been included with the application submission.
4. In Section 4, please advise which virtual simulator you will use for the virtual practical
assessments and provide the link to your simulator
5. In Section 5, please indicate which centre locations will be offering virtual assessments.
Please note we will need to assign the physical centres (Primary or Associate) to arrange
the invigilator.
IWCF will consider applications for virtual classroom teaching to cover the same course content and
homework exercises approved across all programmes and levels.
The course delivery may change to suit the alternative training environment. You must provide
sufficient evidence in this form to IWCF in Sections 1 and 2 to gain approval of VLE use.
To support your application, please answer the following 12 questions below to outline how you will
deliver, monitor and evaluate the course and candidate performance.
Please remember - you must complete all 12 questions and give as much detail as you can as
evidence for your application.

2. Course Delivery
Please complete the short course delivery template. This is a summary of your lesson plans for each

You must complete this for each programme as part of your Virtual Classroom Application Form.
• Timing = the hours you will teach content for and how the learning time is divided, for example:
webinar, “live” interactive classroom, self-study, instructor support time, exercises.
Please complete this course delivery table in the order you will deliver the content. Your content
should be taken from the index pages of the IWCF syllabi and is the topics that are in CAPITAL
