 PREFACE
The survey was conducted to improve the
communication skills and to explore the broad minds
and views of the students. It was mainly divided into
groups containing a better number of students in order
to improve coordinative work and the division of a
whole work among the members of the group. The
survey was carried under the topic “The movie world” in
order to reflect the actual world’s interest towards
movies with involvement apart from the daily
happenings , true ethics, real literatures , true histories ,
precious words from elderly surroundings and many
other things . This topic was chosen not to point anyone
but to know ourselves in today’s world amidst the movie
world.
 ACKNOWLEDgEMENT
In this part it’s time for us to thank all the people
who well the bricks, cement stone and water to
complete our concrete which is our survey report.

From the beginning i.e., from the moment of choosing a

topic to the survey it was a complete co-ordinate were
we could say. We thank all the friends of our group for
their involvement. As the work was divided if was much
case to complete the survey. We thank all the people
who have kindly spend a few minutes on our survey
giving their responses.

ExECUTIVE SUMMARY
This topic was chosen with an objective of
analyzing people’s addiction towards heroes. Addiction
mentions people’s first preference. May it be a general
fact, which of the ways would people like it approaching
then and many other facts? As this was a general topic, it
was circulated among different sections and ages of
people. We were able to view ideas from different
angles. Google from were prepared and circulated
among people land we had a good response towards our
survey. The findings of the survey we interesting and
new ideas and view were brought on from the
responses. With collected responses, we were able to
represent the data both eventually and pictorially. This
exposes is in the following font.

METHODOLOgY
The survey data collection was only
through online. It was circulated among as much as
people as possible. But it was left to the people whether
to answer the survey or not. One or two questions were
made mandatory since they played an important part of
the survey as well as conclude it. The questions were set
in a way such that people would never refuse to answer.
The questions setting was easy since none of the
questions were set imaginarily, instead they were
realistic. This helped us to get a good number of
responses and hence prepare a complete survey repeat.
The findings of the survey were interesting and
unexpected. A few questions on which we had guesses
were just upside down through the survey responses
and this gave us a new idea on the survey.

INRODUCTION
The topic was on ‘movies’. As it is main is the
analysis was not totally one side towards movies,
instead it was an undertaken comparison which was the
main motive of the survey. Questions were like, people
interest, towards it, their point of view of on movies,
their consideration, their involvement as like to aim at
the objection of one survey and other general question
and for the anxiety and case of the people who respond
the survey. Apart from many other topics, this topic was
chosen since it is simply a small psychological analysis.
This analysis was not just an entertainment, but in the
other aspect, that was an analysis to collect to expected
data. For each of the questions, the respective data for
the corresponding pictorial representation is presented.
Further a valuable conclusion and a few
recommendations also put forward to bring out a
change insisting the purpose of survey.

1. Do you like watching movies?

This question was asked as the first one since we could
make proper decisions to move forward. Based on this
question’s response, we would almost come to know the
mindset of the people. As we expected that was a perfect
response.

About 92.5% % accurately were interested in watch

movies. The remaining may be rarely a reason behind
that .this positive number helped us to turn over the
pages.

2. Which movie did you watched

recently?
This question was on a focus to know the touch of people
with movies. Since
ince it is mention as ‘recently ‘we can
come to know the gap. T This
his was the main reason this
question was put forth. WWee had a good guess that the
response would very well be the very recent movies. TheT
responses were as below.

3. What kind of movies would you like to
watch?

Thirdly, we put forth the question to know the kind of

movie in which people were interested. We are familiar
that we are in the current generation and happenings.
Still people may have old tastes as few of us. Hence we
just wanted to confirm this and hence this question was
set. Most probably, the responses were as expected and
that boosted us to move forward.

The three options were namely old (black& white),

middle, new. About 67.6% chose new movies and that
was the majority. People still love middle age movies
and that was 31.4%. The remaining 1% was secured by
the old movies and still they too deserved a position.

4. What is the reason behind your above

chosen answer?
The survey was in a progress and the next question was
certainly as we expected. The previous response was
certainly s we expected. But we may don’t guess the
correct way of its approach. The way we think may not
sink with the people’s thought. Hence as a question this
too was a part of the survey.

Corresponding to the four options given, about 64.8%

people chose story, 9.5% choose acting and the
remaining choose dialogue. This was an interesting
response in the way of its order.
5. Which type of movies would you watch the
most?
As we came to know about the people’s interest in the
kind of movies and their reason .Mostly, we tried
guessing the type of movies which would lie as a good
platform of people’s thoughts. That was a good set of
options that stayed behind the question. This question
was something interesting and the responses were quite
unexpected as represent below:

About 26.75 choose horror movies, 20% choose

romantic, an equal percentage of 18.1% was shared by
the action movies and family bonded movies. The least
percent of 17.1% choose motivational movies.

6. Do you realize the growth of cini industry?

The next question was put forth was about the growth of
cini industry in which most people would be interested
too. The people at present give a lot of importance for
movies. The movies of the present days give us back a
good moral and they are mostly based on the
happenings in the society. The people are much
concerned and realized in the growth of cini industry.

There were two responses yes/no. about 83.8%of the

people were concerned and they had realized the
growth of the cini industry which most of us would guess
whereas the growth of cini industry.
7. Your opinion on its growth:
The question that was next was about the people’s
opinion on the cini industry. We know that the people of
now-a-days show a good concern about movies and they
expect the quick growth of the cini industry. As per the
people’s expectation the cini industry has grown a lot
and few of the people had realized that.

There were three responses from the people i.e. few of

the people had supported the growth few had opposed
the growth and the majority had preferred not to
answer. About 52.4% had preferred not to answer,
41.9% had supported its growth and 5. 7%had objected
its growth.

8. Which actor would you like most?

Next an open question was asked just stayed under
entertainment. A few answers were:

9. Which language movie do you like to
watch?
The next question that was put forth was about the
people’s interaction over the language of the movies.
Now-a-days most of the people almost watch all
language movies. Because the movies conveys a good
message and that is always related and based on the
present happenings in the society

The four options that were given were Hollywood,

Kollywood, Bollywood and others. About 64.8%
preferred to watch kollywood movies which was a well
know language and this was the majority 20% preferred
Hollywood whereas the remaining 15.2% preferred
watching Bollywood movies and movies of other
languages.

10. Who would you like to accompany while

going to movies?
The question was about the people’s company while
going to movies. Based on the theme of the movie we
choose family members for movies conveying some
message about families, friends for movies conveying
message about certain relationships and so on. This
question was asked to know the people’s choice that
they preferred while going to movies.

The four options were friends, family, boyfriend /

girlfriend or single. About 52.4% preferred family it
which would be the best choice and the remaining
11.4% preferred bf/gf or single.

11. Do you think movies finally reveal a good

message supporting any way?
The next question was about the message conveyed by
the movies supported the people any way. As we know
the movies of today reveal the message which is
concerned about the daily happenings in the life of each
people. These messages will surely help the people and
support them a lot. This question was asked in order to
know whether the movies play some role in life by
supporting them.

The three options were yes/no/ prefer not to answer.

About 58.1% of the people replied yes. 32.4% preferred
not to answer. 9.5% replied No. as we know movies will
surely reveal good messages which were support the
people some way.

12. Most trending song:

As songs play a favorite part of most of our lives, they
deserve special position always. This is a well known
fact, and still
ll to remind this. A question as favorite song
was framed and a few responses were:

Finally, the main role over the survey was played by this
question. From the beginning as already mentioned
question were in a progress and few question as a part
of entertainment were inserted in between to make the
responses remain in touch with the survey analysis . As
expected, these were good responses and at last stepped
at this question. This question was a good one to exactly
read the minds of people and this would certainly decide
the survey.
