If there is leakage in the system, performs the following as appropriate: Inspected
 Ensure repairs is performed and returns to Step12 or
 Rejects the system
When the test is completed, vents the test pressure to atmosphere and returns relief devices to Normalized
normal configuration.

TEST INFORMATION
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: An air receiver, sometimes referred to as a compressed air tank, is an integral part of any compressed air
system. The main purpose of this is to act as temporary storage to accommodate the peaks of demand from your system and to
optimize the running efficiency of your plant.
DESCRIPTION OF TEST BOUNDARIES: welding end of
the first circumferential joint for welded connections
are good quality. The face of the first flange for bolted,
flanged connections are good. The first sealing surface
for proprietary connections or fittings are good.
Non pressure parts welded directly to a pressure
retaining surface .Pressure retaining covers are good
quality. Pressure relief devices set top of the tank .
