Generalization:

Swimming is one of the fundamental sports that any of us should learn. Even in ancient ages, swimming
was already present, and our ancestors proved essential. Especially ¾ of our world is covered with water
which explains why many water bodies are scattered anywhere.

In this module, I have learned many things about swimming, especially its history, where some of
the swimming techniques originated, and the different terms associated with swimming. As I read the
history of swimming, I am amazed at how it transformed from time to time. It improves a lot from the
Trudgen crawl down to the Australian and American crawl, which is more synchronous and effective. As
the chronological presentation goes on, swimming was introduced in the Philippines. Many of our
Filipino swimmers exceled in this recreational sport. One of them won 2 bronze medals in the Olympics,
and some won in Asian Games. It is not only about the history of swimming, which I found interesting in
this module but also about swimming equipment. This module includes the different types of equipment
and its use, which is important, especially for me who does not know well how to swim. It is essential to
know these things, especially for those who are just starting to learn about swimming because it is also for
their safety. Swimming is a suitable type of sport that is not only for fun but also for survival. I am happy
that I am having this subject because it enhances my knowledge about swimming.

Swimming is one of the great forms of physical activity. It is a kind of sport that exercises the
muscles on our body. With the help of hands and legs, you can swim and move on to water. Swimming
can also be considered as an art, with the way people swim and bringing their posture. The variety of
strokes in swimming can be an art, and in that way, it is not just only an art. Also, it is good for our
health. It is an essential sport for all of us that we should enjoy as it has numerous benefits all on its own
in various ways. It inspires being fit, competition, having fun, and creativity.

Swimming is not just for kids; it is for all people ages and a great recreational activity. In learning
how to swim, a reason to be considered also is for survival. Whenever someone is drowning, you can save
a life, so basically, it's essential is a life-saving skill. Overall, learning to swim is vital for many reasons
and can benefit throughout life. It can be for personal safety, health, pleasure, and rescuing.

Feedback:

The module 1 is well constructed and easy to understand. Information that is needed to answer
the activities in this module can be seen in the context of it which is favorable for us because we don’t
need to search for more information. All in all, this module is not hard to learn and it is pleasant because
we are not having any difficulty while learning it.
