MCHS officially commences INSET 2021 virtually

Despite being physically and socially-isolated, we can still be connected virtually. Following the
amendment of the school calendar and activities for SY 2020-2021 by virtue of DepEd Order No. 012, s.
2021, MCHS held an online INSET culminating program to prevent the spread of COVID-19, last Friday,
March 19 with approximately 90% MCHS personnel in attendance took part in this finale.
Accentuating the morning session, teachers from different departments do their teaching-related
tasks at home as stipulated to DepEd order no. 11 series s. 2020 on Alternative Work Arrangements as the
country continues to grapple with the Coronavirus crisis. Teachers craft performance tasks and written
works, retrieve and check of bridging activities, computation and finalization of grades and GSA, and
making of report cards. Furthermore, in the afternoon a closing program was held virtually headed by Dr.
Priscilla A. Bednar, Head Teacher III of TLE Department. The program started with a prayer through an
audio-visual presentation. Dr. Leah M. Camilotes, school head, who served as the opening speaker,
attested words of encouragement to the teacher-participants who have a hard time juggling the demands
of teaching profession and personal life. Then, teachers from different departments shared insights about
the things they’ve learned during the 5-day INSET, Lethjazz B. Cabales from Filipino department,
Jacqueline Calape of Science department, Joana P. Libres from TLE department, April Ann R. Protasio of
