Welcome Address–Graduation of Class 2020

To our Faculty; Alumni; Parents; Guests; and the graduating Class of 2020.

It is an honor to welcome each and every one of you to this virtual graduation ceremony. It’s
remarkable to think that your past four years at Bado Dangwa NHS are coming to a close. Let’s
take a moment to think about this journey that you have taken . It’s been full of twists and turns
and marked by countless challenges to overcome, whether they were academic, athletic, artistic,
or personal.

It is a fantastic achievement for all of you to have made it today, and I am proud to share this
moment with all of you. But you have not made it here on your own efforts alone. On behalf of
the faculty and administration, I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge those who have gotten
you to where you are today, because the truth is, none of you could have made it here without
them.

Despite the situation brought to us by the COVID 19, you were able to made it to the end and we
are so proud to have you today.

To borrow the words of the late Nelson Mandela, “A good head and a good heart are always a
formidable combination.”

In this regard, we are here to celebrate the virtual graduation of class 2020; a distinguished class;
a formidable class. A class brimming not only with knowledge, but with compassion and
ambition: Class of 2020. Thank you, and welcome to our virtual graduation.
